The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of revision: 16 December 2009 Revised by: J. Farrelly O'Donovan (OSL 1839, 365) recorded tradition of church site and finding of bones. In recent years ploughing has also turned up rotary quern fragment and bones, probably from a graveyard (CW003-021002-). Cross base (CW003-022----) may be connected with this site. See also (CW003-020----) and (CW003-019----).
