Three burials discovered within metres of each other during bulldozing at site of Carlow sugar factory in 1955. Burial 1: cremated bone with inverted vase urn in small pit. Burial 2: cremated bone with inverted encrusted urn in pit with rough covering of stones. Burial 3: cremated bones with inverted encrusted urn in polygonal cist (Carloviana 1955, 22).
