Depicted as a circular enclosure with the designation 'Fort' on OS 1836 and 1876 eds. Remains comprise a much-disturbed raised subrectangular area (int. dims. 28.8m NE-SW; 26.6m NW-SE) defined by a scarp (max. H lm) from SW-N. Elsewhere the site has been levelled. Original entrance not recognisable. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
