Circular well (diam. c. 1m) enclosed by a stone wall except at SW where there is an overflow channel. Known as 'St Patrick's Well', patterns were held here up until the mid-1970s (local information). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
