Indicated on all OS eds. but not acknowledged as an antiquity. Dedicated to St Killian (local information). The well is sited within a subrectangular enclosure defined by a stone and concrete wall which is rounded at E and open at W. A small stone cross inscribed with the date 1927 is set into the wall behind the well. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
