Situated c. 55m ENE of the foundations of Raffony church and outside of the original perimeter of the ecclesiastical establishment (CV039-071001-). The well is semicircular and is enclosed by a drystone wall and roofed by two flat slabs. Entrance is at S where there is a semicircular stone-built area which appears to be some sort of forecourt. Three apparently modern cross-inscribed stones lie on the roof.
