Large oval-shaped raised area (int. dims. c. 58m NW-SE; c. 43m NE-SW) enclosed by a low earthen bank. Perimeter modified and incorporated into the field boundary from ESE-SE and from S-W. Modern field boundary at the outer foot of the bank from NNW-E-ESE. Original entrance not recognisable. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
