Raised oval area (int. dims. 32.5m E-W; 25m N-S) enclosed by a very substantial earthen bank and a wide, deep, partly waterlogged fosse which has been removed from N-E-SW. A roughly circular depression of unknown significance occurs in the interior and extends into the breach of the bank at WSW. Original entrance represented by break in bank with accompanying causeway at E.
