Raised circular area (int. diam 31.2m) enclosed by two earthen banks with intermediate fosse. Outer bank has been incorporated into the field boundary and has a modern external trench. From W-NNW it is absent and has been replaced by a modern earthen bank which elsewhere runs immediately outside of it. Corresponding breaks in banks at ESE, with accompanying causeway across intermediate fosse, represents original entrance.
