Situated on the summit of a high drumlin hill. An earlier report (OPW 1969) described a raised circular area (int. diam. c. 35m) enclosed by two substantial earthen banks with wide, deep, partly waterlogged outer fosses. Original entrance was at SSE. Site has since been levelled.
