Raised circular area (int. diam. 32.4m) enclosed by two substantial earthen banks with accompanying outer fosses. External fosse may be relatively modern. Outer bank is exceptionally broad (Wth 8m). Break in inner bank with remains of accompanying causeway at ESE may represent original entrance.
