What is recorded here

Raised circular area (int. diam. 28.2m) enclosed by the remains of a low earthen bank and a wide, shallow fosse. A modern field boundary has been built against the external face of bank from NE-SE, and fosse has been infilled. Break in bank at SE represents original entrance. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
