Small circular island (diam. c. 17m) marked on all OS eds., c. 25m N of St Mogue's island on which is situated an early ecclesiastical site (CV013-049----), and 170m from the shoreline. Davies (1948, 116) described it as probably being a crannóg. (CUCAP BGQ 69) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
