Archaeological monitoring (13E0154) of works connected with the development of paths in a geological park identified a post-hole (dims 0.33m x 0.27m; D 0.22m) that was the terminus of a slot-trench (exposed L 3.5m; Wth 0.3m; D 0.3m) curving S and W from the post-hole. Two occupation layers were associated with the trench on its N side with lithics in the upper layer. A sample of willow charcoal from the post-hole produced a C14 date of cal BC 20 – AD 137.
