What is recorded here

Small circular drystone-built structure (int. diam. 1.7m; H 1.4m) of beehive-type construction, roofed internally by a single slab. Low lintelled entrance at SW (H 0.45m; Wth 0.5m). Richardson (1939, 34) recorded a 'small chimney just above it'. (Weir 1989, 10) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
