Not marked on any OS ed. Identified in 1955 by workmen quarrying for road-building material. Examined by Ó Ríordáin (1957, 53-9) in the same year. He found that the cairn was originally circular in plan (diam. c. 18m; H c. 2.5m) and had contained at least four cists, three of which had been, destroyed before he had a chance to record them (CV002-015002-). Ó Ríordáin discovered two inverted food vessels at the N end of the surviving cist and three other food vessels from what was believed to have been the largest of the destroyed cists. Not visible at ground level.
