In a fern-covered area, on the NW-facing slopes of a NE-SW ridge. This standing stone (1.55m x 0.35m; H 1.55m) is roughly triangular in section and is orientated NW-SE. The stone narrows as it rises to a pointed top. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
