In graveyard (CO150-038001-) ruins of early 18th century parish church (L 19.42m, Wth 8.07m). Central door in W gable. Partition wall near E end of church has tall, wide chancel arch. Two window opes in N wall and one each in S and E walls. Shallow wall-presses near E ends of N and S walls. Bellcot atop W gable. Cross slab (CO150-054---) at E end of church. Earlier church in ruins by 1699 (Brady 1863 vol. 2, 561) and present structure probably built c. 1721 when very similar church built in Schull (CO148-020002-). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
