In hilly rough grazing. Roughly circular area (24.2m N-S; 23m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank SW->S containing some stone (H 1m). Two upright stones (H 0.8m: 0.9m) may have revetted outer bank face to S. Recent break in bank S->SW (Wth 17m). Plough strip (Wth 6m) extends into interior to within 2m of ENE bank. Locally known as "lios". The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
