On neck of narrow promontory on N side Dunnycove Point, overlooking Dunnycove Bay to N. Battered face W wall (L 5m); part of N wall (L 1m) of tower visible; otherwise reduced to sod-covered pile of rubble. Overlooked from landward side. According to Westropp (1914, 96) castle of O'Cowhigs.
