In pasture, on NE-facing slope. Circular area (23.1m N-S; 22.7m E-W) enclosed by earthen, stone-faced bank S->NW (int. H 2.3m); scarp (H 2.3m) elsewhere; shallow external fosse (D c. 0.3m) S->NW. Bank incorporated into field fence system. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
