In pasture, on a S-facing slope with views over rolling countryside to the mouth of Glandore Harbour. This souterrain was discovered in the early 2000s when the ground collapsed during silage cutting. The resulting opening (1.1m N-S; D 0.8m) leads down to a chamber (L c. 2m), the curving roof of which appears to have been cut from clay. The souterrain has been largely filled in for safety reasons and was inaccessible. According to local information, there are traces of a stone wall on one side. This may be a blocked-up construction shaft. There is a standing stone (CO143-045----) c. 25m to the E.
