On top of a steep slope, overlooking Castlehaven Harbour to S. Finlay (1973, 110-111) describes a 'rectangle movable boulder, 115cm x 88cm and 30cm thick' decorated with eighteen cup-marks including a group of three which are conjoined and a pair, also conjoined'.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
