On tributary of Ilen river, 2km SE of Skibbereen. Gabled, 3-storey structure with gabled late 19th century 3-storey addition to N; residential house to W. Wheel pit (Wth 1.67m) along E gable; iron axle and flaunch in wheel pit with remains of wooden arms. Pinion shaft powered lying-shaft which operated two pairs of millstones on 1st floor and a lathe on 2nd floor. Internal gearing and machinery intact. Mill race taken from river to E; recently disturbed.
