In an ecclesiastical enclosure (CO141-029001-). No gravemarkers were noted. The burial area may be the low D-shaped platform (8.6m E-W; 9m N-S) conjoined to the S wall of a possible church (CO141-029003-) in the centre of the enclosure. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
