What is recorded here

In a pasture field with extensive views over Roaring Water Bay to the S and SE. A large boulder (2.6m x 2.4m), with 18 cupmarks on its surface, was discovered during field clearance. The cupmarks, which all appear to be randomly placed, are located above a natural ridge in the boulder. According to landowner, the boulder may have been moved slightly from its original location during field clearance. The boulder is surrounded but not obscured by brambles and is visible from the nearby Kilbronoge wedge tomb (CO140-042----) c. 260m to the SE.
