What is recorded here

On bedrock at the high-water mark, on the W shore of the estuary of Roaringwater River. A steep-wooded hillside rises from the shoreline. Three cupmarks (av. diam. 0.05m; av. D 0.02m) are visible on the smooth-surfaced bedrock (1.5m N-S; 0.75m E-W). The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
