In SE quadrant of early ecclesiastical enclosure (CO140-043001-). Rectangular structure (7m E-W; 6m N-S); N and S walls of dry-stone construction (H c. 1m); sod-covered foundations of E wall; W wall almost entirely gone - probable grave markers on line of wall. Cairn of field-clearance stones cover E interior. Probable remains of simple stone-built oratory. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
