In pasture, on SW-facing slope. Irregular area (L 58m; Wth 48.5m) defined by scarp (H 0.9m) with external fosse (D 0.5m) NE->SW. Traces of stone-built bank atop scarp SE->SW. Interior raised (from NE-SW) to SW to compensate for hillslope. Irregular spread of stones in SE quadrant may be remains of hachured features on OS 6-inch map (1842).
