What is recorded here

On S slopes of Leitir Hill, E of Mt. Gabriel. Inclined working driven 260° into low E-facing outcrop. Substantial infill sediment with waterlogging near back wall; 3-4 stone slabs cleaved off scarp face partly obstruct entrance. Test-pit excavation uncovered late 17th century pottery vessel in secondary context; re-use of mine as temporary shelter. Accessible length c. 0.5m; entrance (Wth c. 5m; H c. 1m); narrowing considerably towards back wall. Outside mine, immediately S and W, low dumps of spoil spread over 250m² to unknown depth.
