What is recorded here

In pasture, on crest of N-S ridge. Circular area (28.9m N-S; 28.6m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 2.2m), with external fosse (D 0.8m). Bank stone faced in parts; berm, possibly due to slippage, on inner bank face SSW->N; entrance to SE (Wth 2m), with causeway. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
