Located on ledge c. 8m W of another mine (CO139-055----); suspect shallow working driven 260° into exposed E-facing scarp. Two openings (Wth c. 0.55m; H c. 0.3m) separated by an uncut portion of rock; accessible length <2m. No obvious spoil sediments or stone mauls associated with this working. Possible solution weathering or calcareous conglomerates. (O'Brien 1987: mine 13)
