On S side of Sheep's Head peninsula, close to shore. Roughly rectangular area enclosed by stone wall. Lines of low uninscribed stones with a few 19th and 20th century headstones. Still in use. One gravemarker just S of church (CO138-015002-) is a block of cut stone from door-arch of late medieval character. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
