In pasture, on break in SSE-facing slope. Roughly circular area (28.4m N-S; 25.7m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (max. int. H 1.9m), stone faced in parts; break to NNE (Wth 1.4m), stone faced; eroded break to ENE (Wth 2.7m). Interior raised to S and W above sharp natural scarp, terraced to S. Laneway skirts site to W and N, cutting into hillside to N.
