What is recorded here

On shoreline at White Strand; covered by high tide. Low irregular mound of grey ash and burnt stones covered by layer of decayed wood. At NW end of mound are exposed a rectangular stone-lined, silted-up trough (L 1.2m; Wth 0.8m) with adjacent weathered depression of similar dimensions. Freshwater stream to E.
