Rectangular area projecting W into Dunworley Bay. Westropp (1914-16, 96) recorded sea had cut 'a deep cove' into N part of interior leaving narrow spur projecting on this side. He noted deep fosse and high bank crossing neck and continuing along the projecting spur. Small section of bank (H 3.15m) now remains on N side but is collapsing into sea; fosse (D 3.4m), causewayed to S; counterscarp bank (H 1m). Gravel quarry on S side just inside fosse. Interior eroding along edges.
