In pasture, on E-facing slope, extensive view N->S; SW of circular enclosure (CO136-005---). Marked as circular enclosure on both editions of O.S. map (1842, 1902). Levelled c. 1961. Undulating ground; modern laneway cuts site. Shallow circular depression (diam. 0.8m; 0.2m) c. 36m to E of site. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
