What is recorded here

In pasture, on break in S-facing slope. Originally subcircular enclosure (c. 39m N-S; c. 34m E-W), enclosed within square field of approx. similar shape. Levelled bank survives as slight rise inside field fence to W; scarp (H 1.35m) to E and S with slight internal lip. Tradition of souterrain (CO135-099002-) in interior. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
