In pasture on gentle S-facing slope. Rectangular area (60m NW-SE; 52m NE-SW) enclosed by two earthen banks and intervening fosse. On inner bank (int. H 1.5m) many cattle breaks and one major break (Wth 2.6m) to SW. Outer bank (H 0.9m) and fosse to N and S. Garage of modern dwelling house built into E side of outer bank. Interior level; marshy in SW quadrant; depression (5m E-W; 4m N-S) in NE corner.
