What is recorded here

On terrace in steep S-facing slope; extensive view to S over Clonakilty. Roughly rectangular area enclosed by stone-faced earthen bank. Rows of low uninscribed headstones with many inscribed stones dating to 1780s. Contains remains of church (CO135-013002-). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
