In pasture on S-facing slope with commanding view to S over Rosscarbery Bay. Circular area (diam. 18m) enclosed by low grass-covered bank (H 0.3m) NE-E; natural scarp (H 0.6m) SE->SW; stone-built bank (H 1.65m) SW->NE. Interior level to compensate for slope. E-W trackway divides site in two. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
