In rough grazing, on E-facing slope. Roughly circular area (diam. c. 27m) enclosed by stone-faced scarp (H 1.2m) N->S; stone wall S->W; stone-faced, earthen bank (H 1.6m) W->N. Break (Wth 1.6m) in scarp to S, edges defined by stone settings. Interior raised on E side to compensate for hill slope. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
