In pasture, on E-facing slope. Circular area (21.4m N-S; 27m E-W); raised 1m above surrounding land; enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.1m); with external fosse (D 0.3m) SSE->NW. Break in bank (Wth 2.8m) to ENE. Interior planted with conifers. Road skirts site NW->NE.
