Upright stone (H 0.7m; 0.23m x 0.13m) in graveyard (CO131-007002-). Simple linear ringed cross (H 0.35m; Wth 0.19m; diam. c. 0.15m), incised on E face; arms extend outside ring. Shaft terminates in crosslets. Many grooves on W face suggesting used for sharpening. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 14 January 2009
