In a possible rath (CO129-021001-). An earth-cut souterrain, tunnelled out of blue till clay, was discovered here in 1964 (NMI file). It consisted of four linked passages arranged in a zig-zag fashion, and a NE-SW chamber (H 3 feet [0.91m]; Wth 5 feet [1.5m]). Much of the chamber was filled with debris spreading from its SW end but, from what could be seen of it, it differed little in height and width from the passages. There are no visible remains of this souterrain.
