Rectangular tower (int. 5.85m E-W; 4.8m N-S) atop low ridge overlooking Ferranamanagh Lough on N shore of Dunmanus Bay. Only much ruined ground floor survives; central ope in N wall probably door. Castle of O'Daly bardic clan (Healy 1988, 200-1).
