In pasture, on a knoll on a S-facing slope overlooking the mouth of Bantry Bay and the Sheep's Head and Mizen Peninsulas. A circular raised area (diam. 20m; H 1.1m) is enclosed by the remains of an earthen bank (Wth 1.8m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.8m) W-N and elsewhere by a scarp (H 1.1m).
