In pasture, on a terrace on a S-facing slope overlooking the mouth of Bantry Bay and the Sheep's Head and Mizen Peninsulas. According to local information, the rath at this location was levelled many years ago. The location now consists of uneven-surfaced grass-covered mounds. The rath is not visible at ground level. There is a souterrain (CO128-031002-) within the rath.
