In pasture, beside farm buildings on Bear Island with views N over Berehaven Harbour and Castletownbere. On the NW face of an upright lichen-covered stone (H 0.45m; Wth 0.2m; T 0.1m) is a weathered Latin cross (H 0.28m; Wth 0.18m ). A levelled rath (CO128-026001-) and children's burial ground (CO128-026002-) lie c. 20m to the NW. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
