In level pasture land. Circular area (21m N-S; 20.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.2m); breaks in bank to N (Wth 1.8m) and to E (Wth 2m). Shallow dip inside bank to S. Faint traces of cultivation ridges in interior. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
